We’re always looking for ways to update and improve our Eclipse Core recruitment Software. Read about the latest highlights and get ready to conquer your recruitment goals with these great new features.
We’re kicking off this year’s updates with some major compliance features for Nursing and Midwifery Council checks (NMC) as well as DBS checks.
Enhancing our already great automatic features our new NMC and DBS check to help speed up your compliance checks for candidates.
Nursing and Midwifery Council checks (NMC)
The Nursing and Midwifery Council regulates nurses and midwives in the United Kingdom, and nursing associates in England. They set standards, hold a register and quality assure education.
In the case of a candidate is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Eclipse can facilitate an automatic check when the candidates NMC details are entered into the software.
Upon receiving an ‘Approved’ status from the automated check, the corresponding NMC compliance item on the candidate record will be designated as approved. It will be automatically updated with the expiry date, and the note s section will capture the detailed results.
Simultaneously, the NMC professional body entry on the candidate record will reflect the last checked date, undergo a status change to approved, and the notes section will capture the detailed results.
Conversely, if the automated check indicates a failed status, the relevant NMC compliance item on the candidate record will be marked as unable to supply, and the notes section will document the outcome details.
Additionally, the NMC professional body entry on the candidate record will feature the last checked date, undergo a status change to failed, and include result notes.
DBS checks
Disclosure and Barring Service, also known as DBS is a record of a person’s criminal convictions and cautions
In the case a candidate has submitted a DBS check, Eclipse can now facilitate an automatic check when a specific DBS compliance item is marked as ‘Requested’.
Upon receiving an ‘Approved’ status from the automated check, the corresponding DBS compliance item on the candidate record will be designated as ‘Approved.’ It will be automatically updated with the last checked date, and the ‘Notes’ section will capture the detailed results.
Conversely, if the automated check indicates a ‘Failed’ status, the relevant DBS compliance item on the candidate record will be marked as ‘Expired’, and the ‘Notes’ section will document the outcome details.
