User Permissions
What are User Permissions?
User permissions specify what tasks users can perform and what features or data users can access within a recruitment software CRM.
Does this mean that my management can have different settings than my staff?
Yes it does, the benefit of this is that you can set KPIs for your recruitment staff and have access to documentation that they won’t have access to. It essentially means that you can grant access to users based on what they need access to, whether that is an administrator who needs access to everything or another user who needs to have certain things hidden from them.
What do user permissions encompass?
User permissions have a wide range of scope of how they can be used. Within the Eclipse Recruitment Software, you can:
Implement Access Control
Role based access configuration/control allows different roles to have predetermined assigned permissions, with access granted by permissions administrators, that are based on their responsibilities and access needs.
Add Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
Within a recruitment CRM, you can assign permissions to various features, certain resources, and data, such as job listings, candidate profiles, reporting tools, communication logs, etc.
Restrict Access
System permissions can be restricted depending on the user, so someone with admin access can give a user permission to see some data or files and restrict their access to other resources within the system. User permissions can be granular and determined by user level.
Comply with GDPR
User permissions can help a company comply with data protection regulations and industry standards by controlling who can access specific resources, such as personal and sensitive data stored within the CRM/ATS. Permissions configuration can enforce data access policy and privacy requirements.
